Arrests

• Darren Hayes, 43, of 615 Rowland St., Henderson, was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of assaulting a female and making threats. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 19.

• Robert L. Howard, 21, of 651 Buckskin Lane, Henderson, was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of larceny and having a syringe possibly for illegal drug use. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing March 25.

• William Brandon, 27, of 1067 N. Pinkston St., Henderson, was arrested Feb. 4 on a charge of cocaine trafficking. He was jailed on $35,000 bond pending a court hearing April 11.

Larcenies, incidents

• Vandalism of a silver Toyota Avalon, $200 in paint damage, was reported Monday in the 100 block of South Garnett Street, Henderson.

• Gunfire shooting vandalism, a round striking a household power meter box causing $300 damage, was reported Monday at a 500 Davis Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $1,000 in copper wires and pipe was reported Monday at a 1400 block South Williams Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny off a CD/DVD player from a white Mercury Mountaineer was reported Monday in the parking lot at 100 Comfort Drive, Henderson.

• Gunfire shooting vandalism, $300 damage to a residential house, was reported Monday at a 1300 block Nicholas Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $500 handgun was reported Monday at a 1300 Nicholas Street, Henderson, home.

Arrests

 

• Canissus D. Burwell, 25, of 8430 U.S. 158, Lot 8, Henderson, was arrested Feb. 4 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on $2,500 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 12.

• Guy D. Edwards, 50, of 612 Lake Drive, Lot 8, Lexington, was arrested Feb. 4 on a charge of trespassing. He was released on $300 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 18.

• Jamil A. Nile, 16, of 3254 Old County Home Road, Henderson, was arrested Feb. 4 on a charge of trespassing. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing March 11.

• Steven G. Lowman Jr., 19, of 122 Rose Bud Lane, Henderson, was arrested Feb. 4 on a charge of vandalism. He was cited and released pending a court hearing Feb. 25.

Larcenies, incidents

• Larceny of a push mower, 10 gallons of gas, a puppy and a crate was reported Sunday at a 300 block Faulkner Town Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of 30 oxycodone pills, $100 value, was reported Monday at a 2500 block North Lynnbank Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a table, chairs and a wall clock was reported Monday at a 3100 block Hicksboro Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $750 Dell laptop computer was reported Monday at Northern Vance High School, 293 Warrenton Road, Henderson.

• Larceny of 14 heavy equipment batteries belonging to J&J Logging was reported Monday at a wooded area off from Gillburg Road in Vance County.
