Arrests

• Mark Vanatta, 21, of 1515 Sunset Avenue, Henderson, was arrested May 2 on a charge of fictional registration and no operator’s license. He was cited and released pending a court hearing July 25.

• Kevin Gill, 30, of 509 Charles Street, Henderson was arrested May 2 on a charge of communicating threats. He was released on $500 bond, pending a court hearing May 14.

• Heather Williams, 21, of 118 South Clark Street, Henderson was arrested May 2 on a charge of contributing delinquency of a juvenile. She was released on $300 bond pending a court hearing May 30.

• Kurtis Lee Blake, 22, of 416 Oak Street Henderson was arrested May 2 on a charge of communicating threats and injury to personal property. He was jailed on an unknown bond amount pending a court hearing June 3.

Larcenies, incidents


• Larceny was reported April 14 at Dollar General on 394 Raleigh Road, Henderson.

• Shoplifting was reported May 1 at Sheetz convenience store on 619 Ruin Creek Road, Henderson.

• Shots were reported fired May 2 in the street at Hillside Avenue, Henderson.

• Assault by strangulation was reported May 2 at a home in the 200 block of High Street, Henderson.

• Fraud was reported May 2 at a home in the 700 block of David Street, Henderson.

• Larceny of a $300 handgun was reported May 2 at a home in the 400 block of Oak Street, Henderson.

• Armed robbery and a car chase was reported May 3 in the 1800 block of North Garnett Street, Henderson.

• Property damage was reported May 3 in the amount of $250 at a home in the 700 block of Southerland Street, Henderson.

Arrests


• Alonzo Hunter, 23, of 35 Branch Street, Kittrell, was arrested May 2 on a charge of assault inflicting serious injury and communicating threats. He was released on $500 bond, pending a court hearing June 24.

• Jaman Mitchell, 43, of Sunny Lane in Henderson, was served a warrant for arrest May 2 on a charge of assault inflicting serious injury. He was jailed with domestic bond set. A court hearing of May 13 has been set.

• Gina V. Jones, of 913 Vanco Mill Road, Henderson, was served with two orders for arrest May 2 for failure to return rental property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was jailed on $1,200 bond, pending a court hearing June 24.

• Kirby Marrow, 22, of 62 Meredith Lane, Henderson, was arrested May 2 on a show cause charge. He was jailed on $204 bond, pending a court hearing May 30.

• Cameron Sanwon Terry, 27, of 1598 Bellville Road, Orangeburg, S.C., was arrested May 2 on two counts of failure to appear. He was jailed on $2,350 bond, pending a court hearing May 7.

• Melvin Eugene Magbie, 60, of 755 Davis Finch Road, Henderson, was arrested May 2 on a charge of simple physical assault and communicating threats. He signed an unsecured bond in the amount of $100 and was released.

• James Edward Terry Jr., 29, of 3368 Raleigh Road, Henderson, was arrested May 2 on a charge of assault and battery. He was released on $500 bond, pending a court hearing May 21.

Larcenies, incidents

• Property damage in the amount of $400 was reported May 2, at a residence in the 1200 block of Hight Street, Henderson.

• Breaking and entering, and larceny was reported May 2 at a residence in the 300 block of Jackson Royster Road, Henderson. A stove and air conditioning unit valued at $4,400 was stolen, and $50 worth of damage was caused to a deadbolt.

• Assault inflicting serious injury was reported May 2 at a residence in the 100 block of Sunny Lane, Henderson.

• Larceny of a $700 lawnmower trailer was reported May 2 at residence at 1041 Bullocksville Park Road, Henderson.

• Breaking and entering and larceny was reported May 2 at mobile homes on 57 Breland Drive, Lots 2, 3, 4, and 10. Three cooking stoves, three refrigerators, three mobile home central heating units, two hot water heaters, and three window air conditioners were reported stolen. An estimated value of the goods was not reported.

• A vehicle chase was reported May 2 near Interstate 85 North exit 215. The Oxford Police Department was being assisted in the chase.

• Breaking and entering and larceny was reported May 2 at a residence on 242 Edwards Street, Henderson.
