Larcenies, incidents

 

• Arson of three city trash cans and a utility pole, $500 damage, was reported Sept. 4 at First United Methodist Church, 114 Church St., Henderson.

• Fraud attempt, a $293 fraudulent check seized, was reported Sept. 4 at PNC Bank, 401 S. Chestnut St., Henderson.

• Larceny, return, of a bicycle was reported Sept. 4 at a 300 block South Shank Street, Henderson, home.

Arrests

 

• Jimmy A. Reed, 21, of 1222 Debnam Ave., Henderson, was arrested Sept. 3 on a charge of trespassing. He was jailed on $300 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 28.

• Juwan P. Terry of 241 Truman Ave., Henderson, was arrested Sept. 4 on a charge of assault. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Sept. 23.

• Alfred Brandon of 581 N. Beckford Drive, Henderson, was arrested Sept. 4 on a charge of fighting. He was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing Sept. 23.

• Mandy L. Hargrove, 29, of 1186 Newton Dairy Road, Henderson, was arrested Sept. 4 on charges of failing to appear in court. She was jailed on $4,000 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 1.

• Timothy O. Jefferson, 31, of 249 No Bottom Road, Warrenton, was arrested Sept. 4 on charges of failing to appear in court on child support violations. He was jailed pending payment of $1,300 cash or a court hearing Sept. 19.

• Earnest L. Bryant Jr., 30, of 142 Granite St., Henderson, was arrested Sept. 4 on charges of fleeing to elude arrest, possession of marijuana and resisting officers. He was released on $3,000 bond pending a court hearing Sept 23.

• Jimmie C. Lassiter, 42, of 273 Breedlove Road, Louisburg, was arrested Sept. 4 on charges of failing to appear in court on child support violations. He was released on $1,352 bond pending a court hearing Sept. 25.

• Larceny of a TV, $150 value, was reported Sept. 4 at a 300 block Ivey Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a laptop computer, $300 value, was reported Sept. 4 at Southern Vance High School, 925 Garrett Road, Henderson.

• Larceny of batteries and jump wires, $600 value, was reported Sept. 4 at an open land area in the 700 block of Oak Ridge Church Road, Henderson.
