HENDERSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests:

• Montreal D. Class, 24, of 732 N. Beckford Drive, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 8 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on $300 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 14.

• Shavonda Waverly, 28, of 1214 McCoin Ave., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 8 on a charge of failing to appear in court. She was released on $2,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 22.

• Angel R. Laprade, 23, of 601 Sagefield Way, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 8 on a charge of cyberstalking. She was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 25.

Larcenies, incidents:

• Larceny of $3,400 worth of TVs and $340 worth electronic game equipment was reported Tuesday at an 800 block Eastway Drive, Henderson, home.

• Vandalism of a bus door window, $100 damage, was reported Tuesday at Franklin-Vance-Warren Opportunity Inc., 155 W. Andrews Ave., Henderson.

• Vandalism of a door, window and flowers, $260 damage, was reported Tuesday at a 2500 block Oxford Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $1,225 TV, DVD system, DVDs and jewelry was reported Tuesday at a 400 block Ford Street, Hendeson, home.

• Vandalism of plate glass and pane windows, $600 damage, was reported Wednesday at a 1000 block Harriet Street, Henderson, home.

VANCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Arrests:

• Danatta L. Jones, 22, of 269 Julia St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 7 on two charges of failing to appear in court. She was jailed on $800 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 28.

• Charlie R. Burgess, Jr., 30, of 975 Julian Smith Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 8 on a Virginia fugitive warrant. He was jailed on $10,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 14.

• Turkesa L. Whittley, 36, of 200-B Wester Ave., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 8 on three charges to failing to appear in court. She was released on $3,896 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 24.

Larcenies, incidents:

• Larceny of $550 worth of jewelry and coins was reported Tuesday at a 500 block Parham Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a camper, water pump and lawn mower worth $4,000 was reported Tuesday at 116 Blackberry Lane, Henderson, a structure owned by a Durham woman.

• Larceny of 15 $100 boat batteries was reported Tuesday at B.C. Marine, 2927 Nutbush Road, Henderson.
