Arrests

• Merrell F. Seward, 52, 4174 B Shock Overton Road, Oxford, was arrested May 13 on charges of selling cocaine, conspiring to sell cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for criminal substances. She was jailed on $15,000 bond pending a court hearing May 28.

• Michael Sneed, 54, of 4174 F Shock Overton Road, Oxford, was arrested April 10 on charges of selling Schedule II criminal substances, conspiring to sell Schedule II criminal substances and maintaining a vehicle for criminal substances. He was jailed on $30,000 bond pending a court hearing April 14.

• Jerome Cozart, 25, of 420 Rowland St., Henderson, was arrested May 28 on a true bill of indictment. He was jailed on $20,000 bond pending a court hearing June 25.

• Ronnie M. Moore, 56, of 9590 Yancey Road, Oxford, was arrested May 29 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing June 9.

• Kenneth T. Perry, 50, of 805 Sunset Ave., Oxford, was arrested May 28 on a charge of assault inflicting serious injury. He was jailed on $10,000 bond pending a court hearing June 4.

• Thomas L. Blackwell, 19, of 4168 Winchester Lane, Franklinton, was arrested May 29 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on $300 bond pending a court hearing June 23.

• Brenda W. Ayscue, 54, of 2735 Grove Hill Road, Franklinton, was arrested May 29 on a charge of simple physical assault. She was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing June 23.

• Bobby Winstead, 19, of 3647 Windsor Drive, Franklinton, was arrested May 29 on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. He was released pending a court hearing June 9.

• Steve W. Poole, 35, of 590 Lawrence Road, Wake Forest, was arrested May 30 on a charge of violating a domestic violence protective order. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing June 23.

• Marcia James, 54, of 3579 Hubert Faucet Road, Oxford, was arrested May 30 on charges of simple assault, trespassing and injury to real property. She was jailed without bond pending a court hearing June 9.

• Kennard Black, 33, of 101 Alston Court, Oxford, was arrested May 27 on charges of assault causing serious bodily injury, breaking and entering, and violating a domestic violence protection order. He was jailed on $25,000 bond pending a court hearing June 4.

• Anders Garner, 53, of 6653 Briarwood Drive, Oxford, was arrested June 1 on a charge of communicating threats. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing July 21.

• David A. Perry, 53, of 4147 C Shock Overton Road, Oxford, was arrested June 2 on a charge of assault by pointing a gun. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing July 21.

• Robert M. Flanagan, 58, of 503 E. F St., Butner, was arrested June 3 on a charge of failing to report new address as sex offender. He was jailed on $20,000 bond pending a court hearing June 9.

• Antonio Little, 32, of 3552 Walters Road, Creedmoor, was arrested June 4 on charges of selling Schedule II drugs, delivering Schedule II drugs and possessing Schedule II drugs with intent to sell or deliver. He was jailed on $10,00 bond pending a court hearing June 11.

• Amanda Clevenger, 27, of 703 Northern Falls, Wake Forest, was arrested June 4 on charges of child abuse, conspiring to sell Schedule II drugs and maintaining a vehicle for criminal substances. She was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing June 11.

• Brooks O. Edgerton, 31, of 18 Country Lane, Warrenton, was arrested May 30 on charges of assaulting a government official, resisting a public officer and assaulting a female. He was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing June 4.

• Terrance L. Harrington, 23, of 305 Hyco St., Norlina, was arrested May 29 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing June 25.

• Marcus D. Townes Jr., 21, of 37 U.S. 158 Bypass, Henderson, was arrested May 28 on a charge of larceny. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing June 24.

• Ciara A. Atkins, 18, of 411 Jerman Lane, Norlina, was arrested May 27 on a charge of simple assault. She was jailed on $300 bond pending a court hearing June 25.

• Iman L. Brown, 26, of 1573 U.S. 1 North, Norlina, was arrested May 24 on charges of communicating threats and second-degree trespassing. She was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing June 11.

• Clarence Edwards Jr., 26, of 170 Harrison Road, Norlina, was arrested May 23 on a charge of aggravated assault. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing May 28.
