Snowy footprints foil suspect
Snowy weather hasn’t been all bad. Henderson police captured a suspect Wednesday evening thanks to footprints in the snow.
Daniel Knott, a 25-year-old from 938 Bridgers Street in Henderson, was arrested and faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was jailed with $175,000 secured bond.
Police chief Marcus Barrow confirmed more charges are pending.
Knott had been wanted in connection to a robbery Monday at Anna’s Quick Stop on West Andrews Avenue, and a robbery Feb. 3 at Boost Mobile.
Knott was seen near the Food Lion on Norlina Road in Henderson. He ran from an officer but was tracked by his footprints in the snow.
