Henderson man faces drug charges
A 51-year-old Henderson resident is facing drug charges after police executed a search warrant at his home — where they discovered cocaine and prescription drugs.
Roderick Antonio Lewis, 51, of 1100 Parham St., was arrested Aug. 15 on one count of felony possession of cocaine, four counts of misdemeanor possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and four counts of misdemeanor possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.
Lewis was jailed in the Vance County after failing to post $15,000 secured bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled in Vance County District Court on Sept. 2.
Henderson Police Department Special Operations Unit participated in the arrest.
