Henderson resident faces deportation after prison

A Henderson resident was sentenced to 10 years in prison in federal court on Tuesday.

Roberto Flores-Lopez, of 78 Shearin Lane, received two consecutive 60 month sentences before District Judge Terrence W. Boyle in Raleigh.

He was charged with one count of conspiring to distribute cocaine and two counts of possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute. He was also charged with one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

He will be surrendered to an immigration official for deportation following his release.
