Police find $75,000 of heroin during traffic stop
A Henderson resident was arrested Wednesday after police found $75,000 worth of heroin in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Robert-Korey White, 31, of 666 Vance St., Henderson, was charged with one count of trafficking heroin.
Officers located 150 bricks, or 7,500 dosage units, of heroin.
The investigation revealed the heroin was slated for distribution in the surrounding areas.
White was jailed in Vance County after failing to post a $200,000 secured bond.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 11.
Henderson Police Department Criminal Investigation Division Special Operations Unit and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation were involved in the arrest.
