Arrests

• Melanie McCoy, 25, of 209 Peachtree St., Henderson, was arrested April 24 on charges of trespassing and making threats. She was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing June 24.

• Wiley D. Brantley, 64, of 713 Berry St., Henderson, was arrested April 25 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,200 bond pending a court hearing July 16.

• Aaron J. Halyard, 26, of Uniondale N.Y., was arrested April 25 on a New York fugitive warrant. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing May 2.

• Tracy Veree, 52, of 1701 Nicholas St., Henderson, was arrested April 25 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,000 pending a court hearing July 8.

• Ka’darius Burton, 16, of 753 Alexander Ave., Henderson, was arrested April 25 on a charge of larceny. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing June 24.

• Quincy Batchelor, 21, of 1901 N.C. 39 South, Henderson, was arrested April 25 on a charge of resisting officers. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing June 11.

• Charles Seward, 22, of 111 S. Pinkston St., Apt. 31, Henderson, was arrested April 25 on a charge of larceny. He was jailed on $300 bond pending a court hearing June 6.

• William J. Wright, 42, of Broadnax, Va., was arrested April 26 on charges of larceny. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing June 25.

 

Larcenies, incidents

 

• Larceny of $325 worth of tools from a white Chevrolet GMT truck was reported Wednesday at the parking lot of 400 N. Cooper Drive, Henderson.

• Larceny of TVs and electronic game systems worth $3,000 total was reported Wednesday at a 400 block Chavasse Ave., Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $800 worth of stereo equipment was reported Thursday at a 100 block Keene St., Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $3,500 Honda Rukus moped was reported Thursday at a 700 block Berry Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $1,000 worth of copper tubing was reported Thursday at a 400 block Mayo Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $5,000 tan Bazda Protege was reported Thursday at the parking lot of 125 Church St., Henderson.

• Larceny of a TV, computer and shoes worth $3,600 was reported Thursday at a 600 block Alexander Avenue, Henderson, home.

 

• Larceny of two $300 gazebos, later returned, was reported at Walmart, 200 N. Cooper Drive, Henderson.

Arrests

 

• Derrick L. Terry, 37, of 759 Tungsten Mine Road, Henderson, was arrested April 25 on charges of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $875 cash bond pending a court hearing May 22.

• James A. West, 35, of 1206 Toepleman St., Henderson, was arrested April 25 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $300 bond pending a court hearing May 15.

Larcenies, incidents

• Larceny of nine jewelry items was reported Thursday at a 100 block West Broad Street, Middleburg, home.

• Larceny of a $4,500 heating and air conditioning unit was reported Thursday at an 1100 block Newton Dairy Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of four $100 copper downspouts was reported Thursday at New Hope Elementary School, 10199 N.C. 39 North, Henderson.

• Larceny of a $1,000 TV and game system was reported Thursday at a 200 block Pool Rock Shores Lane, Townsville, home.
