• Larceny of scrap metal from old vehicles was reported Jan. 29 in an open land area in the 500 block of Baltimore Road, Warrenton.

• Larceny of household goods, food and fuel was reported Jan. 30 at a 2700 block U.S. 401, Warrenton, home.

• Escape attempt, running from custody, was reported Jan. 30 at the Warren County Court House, Warrenton.

• Assault, striking a man with a chair causing minor injury, was reported Jan. 31 at a 1200 block Richardson Road, Warrenton, home.

• Larceny of Polaris Sportsman recreational vehicle parts and vehicles was reported Feb. 4 at a 400 block Ridgeway-Warrenton Road, Warrenton, home.

Arrests

• Robert A. Elkerson, 28, of 4698 U.S. 15 South, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 30 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on $600 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 25.

• Matthew H. Taylor, 24, of 206 Holly Drive, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 30 on charges of armed assault, vandalism and failing to appear in court. He was released on $1,300 bond pending a court hearing March 6.

• LaQuan Hunter, 21, of 35 Branch St., Kittrell, was arrested Jan. 30 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing Feb. 11.

• Keith Bagley, 34, of 1191 Shining Water Lane, Creedmoor, was arrested Jan. 31 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing March 13.

• Lasper Hester Jr., 27, of 4045 Dooster St., was arrested Jan. 31 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 25.

• Erik J. Hawkins, 47, of 237 W. College St., Oxford, was arrested Feb. 1 on three charges of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,200 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 6.

• Morocco A. Haqq, 54, of 4034 Shady Brook, Kittrell, was arrested Feb. 3 on a charge of making threats. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing Feb. 18.

• Larry D. Taylor, 50, of 4151 Rockwell Road, Oxford, was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of assaulting females. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing Feb. 25.

• Amber R. Hinton, 19, of 25 Flint Rock Road, Franklinton, was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of larceny, having stolen goods and financial card fraud. She was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 13.

• Herman Cozart, 68, of 7702 Cornwall Road, Oxford, was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of larceny and having stolen goods. He was cited and released pending a court hearing Feb. 27.

• Julius L. Dunston, 24, of Durham, was arrested Feb. 4 on charges of assault and making threats. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing Feb. 6.

• Steven T. Garrett, 17, of 6651 Farmall Road, Oxford, was arrested Feb. 5 on charges of having two weapons at J.F. Webb High School, having marijuana and having an item possibly for illegal drug use. He was jailed on $2,000 bond pending a court hearing March 13.

• Cynthia Russell, 45, of 6642 Cornwall Road, Oxford, was arrested Feb. 5 on charges of twice failing to appear in court. She was jailed on $1,100 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 19.

• Clarence J. Seward, 41, of 623 Farr Ave., Henderson, was arrested Feb. 5 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on $750 bond pending a court hearing March 5.

• Joseph A. Cruz, 34, of 635 Wellons Drive, Creedmoor, was arrested Feb. 6 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 15.

• Kristi F. Lee, 32, of 102 Palmer Court, Oxford, was arrested Feb. 6 on a charge of failing to appear in court. She was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 27.

• Tywon Durham, 27, of 1175 Island Creek Estates Road, Henderson, was arrested Feb. 6, on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $750 bond pending a court hearing March 13.

• Rickey Hunt, 50, of 7025 U.S. North, Oxford, was arrested Feb. 6 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing March 18.

• Codie B. Hicks, 16, of 7007 Huntsboro Road, Oxford, was arrested Feb. 6 on a charge of having marijuana at J.F. Webb High School. He was cited and released pending a court hearing March 13.

• Reginald Harris Jr, 24, of 503 W.C. St., Apt 30, Butner, was arrested Jan. 25 on a charge of driving while impaired. Bond: $3,500.

• Sincere Baines, 23, of 126 Granville St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 25 on a fugitive warrant from New Jersey and on a charge of having an illegal drug. No bond.

• Michael Cozart, 28, of 106 Alex St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 25 on a charge of having an illegal drug. Cited and released.

• Ronald Hicks, 38, of 114 First St., was arrested Jan. 26 on a charge of making harassing phone calls. No bond.

• Patrick Reed, 37, of 4166 U.S. 15 South, Oxford was arrested Jan. 26 on charges of having an illegal drug for sale and illegal drug selling. Bond: $10,000.

• Crystal Terry, 48, of 510 Orange St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 26 on a charge of failing to appear in court. Bond: $500.

• Kirk Wright Jr., 30, of 611 Granville St., was arrested Jan. 26 on a charge of failing to appear in court. Bond: $2,000.

• Ruth Allen, 27, of 2525 Go Cart Lane, Oxford was arrested Jan. 28 on a charge of having an illegal drug. Cited and released.

• Jason Teel, 25, of 1094 Community Road, Oxford was arrested Jan. 28 on a charge of having items associated with illegal drug uses. Cited and released.

• Douglas Harris, 40, of 207 Black St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 28 on charges of making threats, harassing phone calls and vandalism. Bond: $500.

• Ryan Meigs, 30, of 608 Carolina Beach Ave. South, Apt 102, Carolina Beach, was arrested Jan. 28 on a charge of making threats. Bond: $1,000.

• Marquise Jones, 19, of 312 W. Front St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 29 on charges of having illegal drugs for sale and having items associated with illegal drug uses. Bond: $5,000.

• Larry Sneed, 40, of 9668 Hicksboro Road, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 29 on charges of obtaining illegal drugs by forgery or fraud and for failing to appear in court. Bond: $5,750.

• Kristin Davis, 23, of 225 W. College St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 29 on a charge of failing to appear in court. Bond: $20,000.

• Wanda Anderson, 39, of 407 Cherry St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 30 on charges of having an illegal drug and having an item associated with drug use. Cited and released.

• Christopher Bowling, 28, of 1682 Jack Clement Road, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 30 on charges of larceny and having stolen goods. Bond: $500.
