Arrests

 

• Daniel Knott, 25, of 934 Bridger St., Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 14.

• Makesha N. Coppedge, 32, of 65 Turnip Seed Lane, Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on a charge of larceny. She was cited and released pending a court hearing Oct. 28.

• Corey A. Terry, 27, of 1310 S. Chestnut St., Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on charges of driving while impaired and carrying a firearm after consuming alcohol. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Nov. 21.

• Franklin Small, 46, of 843 N. Beckford Drive, Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on charges of assault by pointing a gun and making threats. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 21.

Larcenies, incidents

• Vandalism, $2,000 damage, was reported Sept. 21 at a 200 block North Bullock Street, Henderson, home.

• Fraud by use of a stolen credit card was reported Sept. 23 at the Exxon Service Station on Raleigh Road, Henderson.

• Armed robbery with minor injury was reported Sept. 24 at the intersection of Chestnut and Belle streets in Henderson.

Arrests

• Brian Kelly, 16, of 37 Rose Lane, Henderson, was arrested Sept. 19 on charges of assault and disorderly conduct. He was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 7.

• Scottie M. Stevenson, 44, of 212 Shank St., Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on charges of larceny and failing to register as a sex offender. He was jailed on $90,000 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 7.

• Jamarius Whitley, 21, of 146 W. Spring St., Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing Oct. 28.

• Asaad Alston of 271 S. Beckford Drive, Apt. J-33, Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on a charge of violating a child support order. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 2.

• Veljwine McCall, 18, of 519 Gillburg Road, Henderson, was arrested Sept. 24 on a charge of failing to appear in court. She was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Oct. 7.

Larcenies, incidents

• Vandalism was reported Sept. 23 at a 100 block Western Lane, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of 150 feet of copper gutters, $500 value, was reported Sept. 24 at a business in the 12000 block of N.C. 39 North, Henderson.

• Fraud was reported Sept. 24 at a business in the 500 block of Bearpond Road, Henderson.

• Larceny of an electronic tablet, a laptop computer, jewelry, a shotgun and a handgun, $2,300 value, was reported Sept. 24 at a 2300 block Hicksboro Road, Henderson, home.

• Assault inflicting serious injury was reported Sept. 24 at a 100 block Tom Terry Lane, Townsville, home.
