Arrests

• Mark A. Vanatta, 22, of 1515 Sunset Ave., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of hit-and-run and vandalism. He was jailed on $900 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 19.

• Tiffany A. Talley, 23, of 200 Hunter Lane, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of disorderly conduct and profanity. He was released on $600 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 19.

• Warren L. Small, 24, of 604 High St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 11 on a charge of failing to appear. He was jailed on $40,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 11.

• Salih Akyar, 21, of 311 Pine Tree Road, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 11 on a charge of having a concealed handgun at a traffic stop. He was cited and released pending a court hearing Mar. 19.

• Chelsie House, 22, of 495 Dick Fanes Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 12 on charges of larceny and having stolen goods. She was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 20.

• Samantha Ristau, 23, of Zebulon, was arrested Jan. 12 on a charge of failing to appear in court. She was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 22.

• Linda House, 23, of 445 Foster Road Ext., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 12 on charges of larceny and having stolen goods. She was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 20.

• Perry Jarrell, 23, of 1420 Second St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 12 on charges of being armed to the terror of the public and shooting a handgun at his home in the city. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Mar. 5.

• Paul A. Woodard, Sr., 45, of 458 Sulpher Springs Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 12 on a charge of resisting officers at 1420 Second St. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Mar. 5.

• Diquon Alston, 19, of 213 S. Chavis Road, Kittrell, was arrested Jan. 13 on charges of having a stolen firearm and carrying a concealed firearm. He was jailed on $10,000 bond pending a court hearing Mar. 19.

• Cordarris Wright, 18, of 40 Bullocksville Park Road, Manson, was arrested Jan. 13 on a charge of vandalism. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Mar. 5.

• Miles C. Miller, 21, of 500 S. Cooper Drive, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 13 on charges of having 74 grams of marijuana plant substance, a gram of crack cocaine and 10 milligrams of heroin. He was jailed on $100,000 bond pending a court hearing Mar. 19.

• Miles C. Miller, 21, of 500 S. Cooper Drive, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 13 on charges of kidnapping, attempted robbery and failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $80,600 bond pending a court hearing Mar. 19.

Larcenies, incidents

• A shooting causing $240 damage was reported Friday at International Paper, 203 Wright Ave., Henderson.

• Vandalism of a white 1995 Chevrolet van window and ignition switch, $450 damage, was reported Friday at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company owned commercial building, 412 Raleigh Road, Henderson.

• Vandalism of a red 2000 Ford van window and ignition switch, $450 damage, was reported Friday at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company owned commercial building, 412 Raleigh Road, Henderson.

• Larceny of a $240 iPod with cover and headphones was reported Friday at Eaton-Johnson Middle School, Henderson.

• Shooting of a green Ford Taurus passenger window and body structure, $1,400 damage, was reported Friday at a 200 block Harriet Street, Henderson, home.

• Shooting of a gray Toyota Tundra truck, $300 damage, was reported Saturday at a 500 block Chavasse Ave., Henderson, home.

• Shooting of a 27-year-old man, causing major leg injury, was reported Saturday in the 200 block of Lincoln Street, Henderson.

• Larceny of a $600 TV and DVD player with sound system was reported Saturday at a 300 block Arch St., Henderson, home.

• Shooting of a gold Nissan Maxima, $100 damage, was reported Sunday at an Owen Street, Park Circle roadway, Henderson.

• Juan A. Yanez, 16, of 3963 N.C. 39 South, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 10 on charges of breaking and entering, larceny and having items for drug uses. He was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 28.

• Sean B. White, 17, of 254 Gillburg Lane, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 10 on charges of breaking and entering, larceny and having items for drug uses. He was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 28.

• Billy L. Lawson Jr., 18, of 85 Freedom Lane, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 10 on charges of breaking and entering, larceny and having items for drug uses. He was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 28.

• Dylan B. Renn, 17, of 1326 Club Pond Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 10 on charges of breaking and entering, larceny and having items for drug uses. He was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 28.

• Shamels D. Thomas, 22, of 85 Catherine Werden Lane, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 11 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on $3,600 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 25.

• Corwin Durham, 34, of 140 N. Shank St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 11 on a charge of larceny. He was jailed on $1,500 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 28.

• Larceny of $430 worth of power tools was reported Saturday at a 2200 block Oakridge Church Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $1,900 worth of firearms was reported Saturday at a 200 block Lincoln Avenue, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $450 worth of electronic items plus prescription drugs was reported Saturday at a 100 block Renn Lane, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of TVs, electronic game equipment, jewelry and clothing items, $4,200 value total, was reported Sunday at a 100 block Flat Rock Lane, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a radio and jewelry, $375 value, from a gold Chevrolet Suburban was reported Sunday at a 12400 block N.C. 39 North, Henderson, home.

• Shooting an occupied blue Buick Lacrosse, $2,000 damage, no injury, was reported Monday at an N.C. 39 North, Williamsboro, roadway.

• James Jones, 44, of 415 Henderson St., Oxford was arrested Jan. 10 on a charge of failing to appear in court. Bond $500.

• Quentin Strater, 28, of 322 Junction Road, Durham, was arrested Jan. 10 on a charge of having goods by fraud. Bond: $10,000.

• Babe Thorpe Jr., 26, of 216 Forest Ave., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 10 on a charge of having stolen goods. Bond: $500.

• Christopher Duncan, 19, of 5022 Lucy Averette Road, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 10 on charges of assaulting a female and resisting an officer. Bond: $1,000.

• Sacorya Smith, 20, of 1721 Creek Oak Circle, Fuquay-Varina, was arrested Dec. 29 on a charge of getting property by fraud. Bond: $1,000.

• Nakia Agee, 20, of 25 Abbott Ave., Morristown, N.J., was arrested Jan. 1 on charges of assault and vandalism. Bond: $1,000.

• Leslie Bass, 50, of 207 Maple Drive, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 1 on a charge of trespassing. Bond: $1,000.

• Brain Elkins, 34, of 2225 Grove Hill Road, Franklinton, was arrested Jan. 1 on charges of breaking and entering and assaulting a female. No bond.

• Jykal Douglas, 22, of 1106 Autumn Park, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 2 on a charge of secreting lien property.

• Terelle Royster, 26, of 110 Summitt Ave., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of trafficking opium or heroin and failing to appear in court. Bond: $29,000.

• Leo Alston, 28, of 203 First St., Oxford, was arrested Jan. 3 on charge of having illegal drugs for sale and having items for drug uses. Bond: unknown.

• Keyannah Richardson, 26, of 4080 Cannon Ball Lane, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of having an illegal drug. No bond.

• Keronta Brawell, 20, of 144 Juniper Court, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of assaulting a female and vandalism. Bond: $500.
