William Ormond of Henderson has been connected to the double-murder at the Scottish Inns motel on Feb. 16.

Ormond, of 106 Alexander Lane, was served Wednesday with a true bill of indictment for accessory after the fact, according to a statement from police. Ormond received a $150,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on April 30.

Edward Demario Hawkins is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the case. He’s accused of killing 34-year-old Kenya Odessa Hodges and 33-year-old Jerome Kearney in a breezeway area of the motel near Room 171.

Hawkins surrendered to police Feb. 26.
