Henderson-Vance Crime Stoppers has released its monthly list of incidents, with advisement of possible rewards.

Tips to Crime Stoppers can be made by calling (252) 492-1925, or by going online at hvcrimestoppers.com. Crime Stoppers pays rewards of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Tips for the Henderson Police Department can be made by calling (252) 438-4141 or (252) 431-6063.

Tips for Vance County Sheriff’s Office deputies can be made by calling (252) 738-2200.

• Police are investigating an Aug. 11 incident that happened at 9:51 p.m. Officers responded to the area of North Pinkston and Adams streets and a report of a hit-and-run collision that included personal injury to a pedestrian.

The vehicle officers believe was responsible for the collision had left the scene by the time police arrived, according to police reports.

• Police also are probing an Aug. 13 incident at about 9 p.m. Officers responded to the North Garnett Street Subway in response to a robbery call noted as “in progress.”

The descriptions of two assailants were black males, both in white T-shirts, one wearing a blue bandanna and the other wearing a red bandana. Witnesses said they entered the store and pointed a small black handgun at them, saying, “give it up.”

The assailants left the store on foot.

• Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call on Aug. 22 at 4:30 p.m. at Quality Equipment, 70 John Deere Road.

Deputies were told someone cut two sections of the chain fence and took two riding lawn mowers.
