Arrests


• Niesha Hicks, 34, of 256 S. Beckford Drive, Apt. C, Henderson, was arrested Thursday on a charge of assault. She was released on a written promise pending a court hearing July 23.

• Jason Taylor, 37, of 220 Crozier St., Henderson, was arrested Thursday on a charge of communicating threats. He was released on $300 bond pending a court hearing June 26.

• Leonard R. Foster, 32, of 324 Gary St., Henderson, was arrested Friday on a charge of assault on a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing Aug. 20.

Larcenies, incidents


• Breaking and entering, and larceny were reported Thursday at a home in the 1200 block of Roanoke Avenue, Henderson. Various items, $3,280 total value, were stolen from an automobile on the property.

• Property damage was reported Thursday at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Innocents in Henderson. A chain link fence gate, $100 total value, was damaged when it was lifted off its hinge. Signs were also removed from the property.

• A hit and run, $3,000 total value, was reported Thursday to a vehicle along the 800 block of S. Beckford Drive, Henderson.

• A larceny was reported Thursday at Walmart in Henderson. Air conditioning units and containers of body wash, $555.41 total value, were recovered.

• Simple physical assault was reported Friday at a 500 block Mason Street, Henderson, home.

• Reckless driving, driving while uninsured and eluding arrest with a motor vehicle was reported Thursday in the 500 block of N. Williams Street in Henderson. A four-wheeler was seized.

Arrests

• Devon Trayanell Peace, 25, of 330 E. Winder St., Henderson, was arrested June 20 on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing July 2.

• Randy Johnson, 29, of 305 Kittrell St., Henderson, was arrested June 20 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on a $750 bond pending a court hearing July 22.

• Joseph F. Parham, 22, of 5014 Tungsten Mine Road, Townsville, was arrested June 20 on a charge of vandalism. He was released pending a court hearing July 2.

• Allen Demont Pope Jr., 35, of Burchette Road, Manson, was arrested June 20 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on a $700 bond pending a court hearing June 25.

• Thomas W. Terry, 48, of 501 Red Clay Lane, Henderson, was arrested June 20 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on a $400 bond pending a court hearing July 2.

• Antawn D. Street, 33, of 212 Lowry St., Henderson, was arrested June 20 on charges of hit and run, giving a false report to the police station and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was released on $600 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 6.

• Johnnie Darnell Royster of 1465 Newton Dairy Road, Lot 48, Henderson, was arrested June 20 on a show cause charge. He was jailed on a $250 bond pending a court hearing July 30.


Larcenies, incidents

• Breaking and entering was reported Thursday at a 3500 block Jackson Town Road, Henderson, home. A 2002 Honda 400ex, $2,500 total value, was stolen.

• Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle was reported Thursday at a 100 block Dr. Finch Road, Henderson, home. Several items, $3,200 total value, including a CB radio and a depth finder/fish finder, were stolen.

• Assault by pointing and discharging a gun was reported Thursday at a 100 block Meadow Court, Henderson, home.

• Breaking and entering was reported Thursday at a 3100 Hicksboro Road, Henderson, home. Several items, $2,950 total value, were reported stolen from the residence.
