Three arrests connected to teen's shooting death in Raleigh
RALEIGH — Three men have been arrested in the shooting death of a man at a Raleigh apartment.
Officials say 19-year-old Treven Shaihid Beard of Angier in Harnett County was found shot to death in a car Tuesday morning.
Police spokesman Jim Sughrue says officers were called to the apartment complex for a report of an armed robbery early Tuesday morning. Officers arriving on the scene found Beard in the car.
Sughrue said Beard knew the three Raleigh men charged with murder. They are 20-year-old Isaiah Marquice Beverley, 19-year-old Robert Alphonso Bryant and a 17-year-old old.
Police say Beverley was arrested at Duke Health Raleigh, where he was seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
It was not clear if the men have attorneys.
