Arrests

• Ahmed Ali Shijad, 27, of 1329 Juniper St., Durham, was arrested July 15 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was released on a promise to appear pending a court hearing Aug. 5.

• Jeffery M. Perry, 51, of 3621 U.S. 58, Warrenton, was arrested July 15 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing July 17.

• Jammy A. Hendricks, 38, of 532 N. Main St., Warrenton, was arrested July 15 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing July 17.


Larcenies, incidents

• Larceny of jewelry, $1,000 value, was reported July 5 at a 100 block Unity Drive, Warrenton, home.

• Larceny of auto parts and accessories, $500 value, was reported July 8 at an open area on U.S. 401 South, Warrenton.

• Larceny of a TV, $500 value, was reported July 9 at a 200 block Kimball Road, Mason, home.

• Vandalism, $1,200 damage, was reported July 9 in Warrenton.

• Larceny of Magnavox electronic equipment was reported July 9 at a 6400 block Vicksboro Road, Henderson, home.

• Fraud, estimated $40,000 cash, was reported July 10 in the 1000 block of Lakeshore Drive, Littleton.

• Vandalism, $1,200 damage, was reported July 10 at a 100 block Lazy Day Court, Macon, home.

• Larceny of a motorcycle, $4,000 value, was reported July 10 in the 800 block of No Bottom Road, Warrenton.

• Larceny of a stove, $500 value, was reported July 11 at 493 Sulphur Springs Road, Warrenton.

• Larceny of a vehicle, $7,000 value, was reported July 11 at a 1400 block Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Warrenton, home.

• Larceny of building supply items was reported July 11 at a storage facility, 200 block of Jones Chapel Road, Norlina.

• Larceny of tools and parts, $1,300 value, was reported July 12 at a 2000 block Lickskillet Road, Warrenton, home.

• Larceny of three televisions and electronic game equipment, $3,500 value, was reported July 12 at a 500 block Eaton Ferry Road, Macon, home.

• Larceny of prescription drugs was reported July 13 at a 100 block Sycamore Drive, Macon, home.

• Larceny of a car radio and damage, $470 value, was reported July 13 at a 300 block Hamlet Road, Hollister, home.

• Shooting assault, with injury, was reported July 13 at a 100 block Queen Avenue, Warrenton, home.

• Larceny of two televisions, a kettle grill, a window air conditioner unit and electrical cable, $880 value, was reported July 13 at a 1300 block Odell Littleton Road, Littleton, home.

•Jessica G. Perry, 23, of 2015 Mineral Springs Drive, Stem, was arrested June 28 on a charge of assault. She was jailed without bond pending a court hearing July 29.

• Timothy M. Darnell Jr., 28, of 2015 Mineral Springs Drive, Stem, was arrested June 28 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing July 29.

• Joshua A. Burgess, 20, of 314 9th St., Butner, was arrested June 28 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $2,000 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 21.

• Christopher W. Bowling, 28, of 2678 Gela Road, Oxford, was arrested July 8 on charges of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $20,000 bond pending a court hearing July 22.

• Tonya L. Curtis, 39, of 6011 N.C. 96 North, Oxford, was arrested July 10 on charges of armed assault, larceny and assault. She was jailed on $2,000 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 13.

• Shante K. Cotton, 34, of 4088 Charley Harris Road, Oxford, was arrested July 10 on charges of assaulting a female and vandalism. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 19.

• Chad Taylor, 39, of 111 Windimere Ave., Oxford, was arrested July 10 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $2,400 bond pending a court hearing July 30.

• Gerald Enis, 55, of 7531-B Cornwall Road, Oxford, was arrested July 11 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,200 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 5.

• Richard Young, 46, of 1107 Allenswood Road, Wake Forest, was arrested July 12 on charges of growing marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and maintaining a dwelling for drug trafficking. He was jailed on $200,000 bond pending a court hearing July 22.

• Violet L. Young, 19, of 1107 Allenwood Drive, Wake Forest, was arrested July 12 on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of items for possible drug use and maintaining a dwelling for drug trafficking. She was jailed on $10,000 bond pending a court hearing July 22.

• Joseph L. Riddle, 39, of 3509 Topaz St., Wake Forest, was arrested July 13 on a charge of larceny of a vehicle. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 13.

• Mary C. Crain, 37, of 5582 Hebron Road, Oxford, was arrested July 14 on a charge of assault and assaulting a child under 12. She was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 14.

• Delvin J. Barker, 34, of 2615 Gela Road, Oxford, was arrested July 15 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 7.

• Melvin Evans, 58, of 4035 Salem Road, Oxford, was arrested July 15 on a charge of failing to appear in court on violating child support orders. He was jailed on $2,500 bond pending a court hearing July 19.
