Arrests

• Christopher Arendall, 21, of 55 Chester Lane, Henderson, was arrested May 9 on charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, having a stolen firearm and held without bond on a fugitive warrant. He was jailed on $53,000 total in bonds pending a court hearing July 9.

• Latoya Macon, 32, of 2275 St. Matthew St., Henderson, was arrested May 9 on charges of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession. She was cited and released pending a court hearing July 9.

• David L. Davis, 40, of 151 Burwell Ave., Henderson, was arrested May 10 on a charge of marijuana possession. He was cited and released pending a court hearing July 9.

• Katherine J. Bethoney, 35, of Wake Forest, was arrested May 10 on a charge of possessing an illegal drug. She was cited and released pending a court hearing July 9.

 

Larcenies, incidents

 

• Vandalism was reported May 8 at the parking lot of 1425 E. Andrews Ave., Henderson.

• Eluding then crashing, resisting and fleeing officers, $7,500 damage to 50 feet of chain link fence and a brick wall, was reported May 9 at Recon Quality Investment, 100 Main St., Henderson.

• Larceny of a checkbook and writing bad checks was reported May 9 at a 1000 block South Garnett Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $450 gold bracelet was reported May 9 at the parking lot of 1263 Dabney Drive, Henderson.

• Larceny of a $130 TV was reported May 9 at Big Lots, 1735 Dabney Drive, Henderson.

• Larceny of 36 feet of copper gutters, damaging four sections more, was reported May 9 at a 200 block Gholson Avenue, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $14,000 worth of plumbing fixtures and equipment, computers and accessories was reported May 9 at Mosley Plumbing Company, Inc., 247 E. Montgomery St., Henderson.

• Larceny of a $2,000 64-inch TV was reported May 10 at a 900 block Bane Avenue, Henderson, home.

Arrests

• Joseph Archie, 16, of 1419 Maple St., Henderson, was arrested May 8 on a charge of displaying gang colors at Southern Vance High School, creating a disturbance and being disorderly. He was jailed on $300 bond pending a court hearing June 3.

• Tammy Harris, 44, of 310 Yancey Lane, Henderson, was arrested May 9 on charges of failing to appear in court. She was jailed on $1,500 bond pending a court hearing June 24.

• Marcus Fields, 33, of 1300 Gun Club Road, Henderson, was arrested May 9 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing May 13.

• Calvin Williams, 43, of 4475 Stagecoach Road, Henderson, was arrested May 9 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing May 30.

• Preston Maddox, of 255 N.C. 39 Loop Road, Henderson, was arrested May 9 on a charge of violating a child support order, He was jailed on $463 cash bond pending a court hearing May 15.

• Larceny of $1,800 worth of farm equipment and accessories was reported May 7 at a 1900 block Dabney Road, Henderson, farm building.

• Larceny of a $1,800 four-wheeler was reported May 9 at an 1800 block Boggitt Road, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of two horses was reported May 9 at a 1400 block Peter Gill Road, Henderson, home.

• Vandalism of a fence and the windows of a red 2003 Suzuki sedan was reported May 9 at a 200 block Morgan Place, Henderson, home.
