Abdalsalah Ahmed Mohamed Almuwallad has been arrested by Henderson police on a charge of sexual assault.

The 30-year-old was charged after police responded Sunday to a Chestnut Street apartment residence behind A and A Mini Mart to investigate a complaint, according to Lt. Christopher Ball. Ball said the residence is in Almuwallad’s name and a search warrant was served.

A 20-year-old filed the complaint and was evaluated at Duke University Medical Center, according to Ball. The suspect is an employee at the convenience store, according to Ball.

Almuwallad was jailed, with bond set at $100,000 and a court date set for Nov. 4.
