HENDERSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests:

• Gerald Lerch, 49, of 1515 S. Lake Lodge Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 11 on charges of breaking and entering, larceny and having $500 worth of stolen copper piping. He was jailed on $51,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 22.

• Nicole Murphy, 23, of Zebulon, was arrested Jan. 14 on charges of having 50 milligrams of marijuana plant substance and items associated with illegal drug use. She was cited and released pending a court hearing Feb. 11.

• Elizabeth Stainback, 28, of 2568 Nutbush Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 14 on a charge of larceny. She was cited pending a court hearing Feb. 19.

• Edward Moore, 20, of 135-B Joliet St., Washington DC, was arrested Jan. 15 on a charge of being an out-of-state fugitive from justice. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing Jan. 28.

• Maury Champion, 23, of 634-A E. Andrews Ave., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 15 on charges of making threats and twice failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $26,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 25.

• Mary McKinley, 25, of 118 North St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 15 on charges of driving while intoxicated and having an open container of alcoholic beverage in her car. She was cited pending a hearing in court March 26.

Larcenies, incidents:

• Larceny of a $1,500 burgundy Honda Accord was reported Monday at a 1400 block Parham Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of three TVs, electronic game equipment and computers, worth $5,800 total, was reported Monday at a 100 block S. Clark Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $250 handgun from a white Lincoln Continental was reported Monday at a 1200 block Park Avenue, Henderson, home.

• Shooting of rounds, a stray striking the rear tailgate of a white Acura MDX, $250 damage, was reported Tuesday at a 500 block Davis Street, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $1,500 worth of jewelry was reported Tuesday at a 1600 block Bane Avenue, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of a $250 shotgun and five $40 fishing poles was reported Tuesday at a 200 Peachtree Street, Henderson, home.

VANCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Arrests:

• Anthony O. Crudup, 25, of Fayetteville, was arrested Jan. 15 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 26.

• Byron R. Champion, age redacted, of 220 Brame Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 15 on a charge of failure to provide ordered child support. He was jailed on a $750 cash purge order, pending payment.

Larcenies, incidents:

• Larceny of $1,800 worth of touch-screen computer equipment was reported Tuesday at a 500 block Swain Drive, Henderson, home.

• Larceny of $5,353.83 worth of Progress Energy copper wire was reported Tuesday at the intersection vicinity of North Cokesbury and Warrenton Road Henderson.
