Creedmoor music festival coming Sept. 20
The 23rd annual Creedmoor Music Festival will take place Sept. 20, rain or shine.
Festivities will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include live music, local food and craft vendors, and a variety of children’s activities.
The music lineup will include the South Granville High School Marching Band, the Tar River Terra Tunes and Mount Energy Mustang Melodies, GrassStreet, JoceLien, Steel Country, the Sid Yochim Band, DNA, Lowder Still and the Sourwood Mountain Band.
TK’s Car Show will take place in the Creedmoor Chevrolet lot from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be an auction for a Mustang convertible at 12:30 p.m. All proceeds from the show will go toward the Masonic Home for Children. For more information, contact Tommy Keith at (919) 801-3799.
More sponsors are needed to cover the costs of the event. Sponsorship registration forms and information are available on the city of Creedmoor’s website.
Reservations for vendor booth spaces may be made at Creedmoor City Hall.
