Energy Star tax holiday is the last scheduled
The last N.C. Energy Star tax holiday will take place Nov. 1-3.
The holiday was introduced in 2008 to encourage the use of more energy efficient products while saving consumers money.
Products qualified for tax free purchase include clothes washers, freezers, refrigerators, central and room air conditioners, air-source heat pumps, ceiling fans, dehumidifiers and programmable thermostats that are energy star certified.
