Copyrights, trademarks, patents topics of seminar at community college
A free seminar on copyrights, trademarks and patents will be offered through the small business center Vance-Granville Community College on April 30.
The seminar, “Basics of Copyrights, Trademarks & Patents,” will take place, from 6-8 p.m, at the Franklin County Campus on N.C. 56 near Louisburg.
An attorney from the North Carolina Lawyers for Entrepreneurs Assistance Program will discuss the basics of copyrights, trademarks and patents, and how they pertain to a small business.
The North Carolina Bar Association Foundation established the program to provide pro bono legal services to low-wealth entrepreneurs starting or expanding their businesses in North Carolina. By providing one-on-one representation, community education and self-help materials, the program enables these entrepreneurs to build businesses that create jobs and improve communities within the state.
Call the Small Business Center at (252) 738-3240 for more information or to reserve a seat.
