Vance-Granville Community College: Criminal justice students conduct Easter community service project for area kids
Members of the Criminal Justice Club (criminal justice technology), along with other students, at Vance-Granville Community College recently conducted Easter egg hunts for local children.
Donating their time for this community service project, the volunteers collected candy and Easter “grass” for the preparations. Residents of both the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford and the Central Children’s Home in Oxford, as well as children at the child day care centers at the college’s main and Franklin County campuses.
Organized by Capt. Tony Clark, an instructor and advisor to the club, this initiative is among the many service project members participate in each year.
