Microchip clinic to be held Feb. 8
The Humane Society of Granville County is hosting a microchip clinic at the Southern States in Creedmoor on Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The microchips are small implants that are inserted beneath an animal’s skin. Each has a unique number that can be used to retrieve the contact information of an animal's owner if the animal is lost.
Each microchip is $20, including a lifetime registration.
All animals at the event should be leashed or in a carrier.
