Johnson elected as board chairwoman at Triangle North
Joretha Johnson was elected as the chairwoman of the Triangle North Healthcare Foundation’s board of directors during the board’s meeting in December.
Johnson is an Ohio native who was employed by Proctor & Gamble for 23 years, most recently as manager of the company’s pet care plant in Henderson from 2007 until her retirement in 2010.
Johnson is also a member of the Chancellor’s African-American Advisory Committee at N.C. State University and is the founder of The HERO Institute Foundation, a nonprofit research and development organization for youth.
She currently resides in Wake Forest.
The Triangle North Healthcare Foundation, formerly known as Maria Parham Healthcare Foundation, is a nonprofit organization that provides grants for health and wellness initiatives in Vance, Granville, Warren and Franklin counties.
