Advanced registration for housing workshop ends today

Perry Memorial Library, 205 Breckenridge St., Henderson, has scheduled a free, fair housing workshop for Wednesday, from 10 a.m.-noon.

This workshop is free and open to the public. Advanced registration, which ends today, is encouraged.

Conducting the workshop will be Jack Holtman, legal aid of North Carolina and presenter of the Fair Housing Project. He will present the following topics:

• What property is covered?

• What are my rights?

• How can I submit a complaint?

• Who can I contact for help?

Renters, homebuyers and homeowners; property managers and landlords; housing advocates; and all those concerned with equal access to affordable housing are urged to attend.
