The Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society has pledged donors that will match every dollar donated to the society through Nov. 30, up to $15,000.

The society works to save the lives of unwanted animals in Vance County by providing medical care and placement in no-kill animal shelters. The society has placed more than 8,000 animals in no-kill animal shelters in the U.S. and Canada.
