Daisette Youth hold May meeting

The Daisette Youth Garden Club met May 22.

Runisha Taylor led the devotion.

During the business session, members spoke about their achievements in school.

For the program, Vivian Bullock presented a slide show of flowers she planted in her yard. Flowers seen included knockout roses, water lilies, hummingbird vines, irises, a butterfly bush, geraniums, azaleas, sweet Bessie, mint, sedum, hosta, peonies, daisies and hot poker.

Following the presentation, club members received a package containing various kinds of vegetable seeds to plant.

A report will be given on the vegetable planting at the club’s June meeting.

The meeting adjourned with the youth repeating the club pledge.
