Don’t endanger pets on the fourth
The Humane Society of Granville County hopes that everyone has a safe, fun-filled Fourth of July.
But owners should keep their animals away from all fireworks and leave them at home if they are planning to attend any of the community sponsored firework displays.
Fireworks can be very dangerous to animals, and the resulting noise from the fireworks exploding can scare pets.
Also, it is important to make sure pets have plenty of fresh drinking water and shade if they are going to be outside.
