Tips from the Vance County Parenting Task Force
The better rested you are, the better care you can give your baby.
New parents often find it hard to get adequate sleep. Your sleep may be disrupted during the first several months. It will get better with time.
Following are some tips to help new parents:
• Sleep when your baby sleeps.
• Ask for help from trusted family members and friends to care for your baby while you nap.
• If you have a parenting partner, try creating early-night and late-night shifts, or perhaps try alternating entire nights.
