Jennifer Dawn Privette marries Steven Lee Cozart Jr.

Jennifer Dawn Privette and Steven Lee Cozart Jr., both of Henderson, were united in marriage Dec. 12, 2012, at 12:12 p.m., in Henderson.


The bride is the daughter of Teresa Noles of Henderson and Brian Privette of Franklinton. She is the granddaughter of Mattie Beal and the late Elijan Beal, both of Oxford, and Edna and Jasper Privette, both of Franklinton. She is a graduate of Northern Vance High School, Kittrell Job Corps and Vance-Granville Community College. She is currently employed as a supervisor in charge/medical technician with Green-Bullock Assisted Living Center.

The groom is the son of Rose Cozart and Steven Cozart, both of Henderson. He is the grandson of Carrie Hargrove of Henderson. He is a graduate of Southern Vance High School and is currently employed as a cook with Bojangles.

Ryan Privette, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Shamika Cannady, sister of the bride, served a maid of honor. Y’Nashia Cannady, Ny’Shia Brown and Chyanne Beal, all nieces of the bride, served as bridesmaids.

Mark Brown, brother-in-law of the bride and best friend of the groom, was the best man. Michael Boyd, brother of the bride, served as groomsman.

Zy’mika Burton, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. The ring bearers were Elijan Beal, son of the bride, and Mikeal Hargrove, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was hosted by the bride and groom at the home of the bride.

After a honeymoon trip to Williamston, the couple now resides in Henderson.
