Register for the Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less online program

You may not be thinking about losing weight right now, but, chances are, most folks will be thinking about it come January. You can get an early start on beginning or getting back to healthy eating and physical activity behaviors by registering for the Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less program that is offered by live instruction online. New groups start the week of Jan. 7.

Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less is a weight-management program that uses strategies proven to work. It’s hard to break old habits. That’s why nutrition and physical activity experts created a program that emphasizes small changes. A one-hour session once a week for 15 weeks. It’s as simple as it sounds. Participants can choose the time of day they would like to attend the on-line lessons.

There are three options for enrolling:

• A special low price for state employees enrolled in the state health plan

• Individual

• Group/business
