Senior games scheduled from March through May

The Region K Senior Games, scheduled to take place from March 28-May 16, will encompass five counties: Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance and Warren.

Those interested in participating in this event — as a staff member, competitor, sponsor or volunteer — should contact Shaaron Reynolds at (252) 492-8623 and leaving a message.

Registration forms, available at any local senior center, must be turned in by Friday.

This event is just one of 53 programs sanctioned by North Carolina Senior Games, a nonprofit organization that provides health promotion and education to adults 55 years of age or older year-round. The North Carolina Division of Aging and Adult Services sponsors these games statewide.
