‘Finding Freedom’ exhibit now open at Rocky Mount museum
The Children’s Museum and Science Center in Rocky Mount opened a new exhibit to the public on Jan. 26.
“Finding Freedom” was developed by the museum to inspire visitors to examine their personal views of the word — “freedom.” Attendees will reflect on how people’s understanding of the word, the history behind the nation’s efforts to achieve freedom and the sacrifices necessary to maintain it.
The facility recently update its hours of operation:
• Tuesday-Friday — 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Saturdays — 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
• Sundays — 1-5 p.m.
• Mondays — closed
