White named finalist for Mercy Award
Maria Parham Medical Center recently selected Carolyn White as this year’s LifePoint Mercy Award nominee. At the recent Mercy Award banquet in Nashville, Tenn., she was recognized as a Top Ten Finalist.
LifePoint Hospitals’ Mercy Award recognizes one of 30,000 employees each year who best exemplifies the company’s spirit and values, consistently goes beyond the call of duty and demonstrates a high level of commitment and caring. The award is named after Scott Mercy, founding chairman and the first CEO of LifePoint. It is the highest honor an employee can receive from the company.
White is a registered nurse and currently serves as nursing supervisor at Maria Parham. She has been employed at the hospital for 44 years.
White’s husband Colonel accompanied her on the trip to Nashville.
Last year’s Maria Parham representative, Hope Breedlove, was also named a Top Ten Finalist for the Mercy Award.
