Help sought for Lake Gaston survey
This year, The Lake Gaston Association is teaming up again with Dr. Brett Hartis of the North Carolina State University Aquatic Weed Management Program to hold a lake-wide aquatic plant survey.
The survey will help inform decisions regarding hydrilla treatments during the upcoming year.
Hartis will conduct survey training sessions for volunteers at various points on the lake later this summer.
Training locations and times will be announced.
No experience is necessary to take part in the survey. The association will help provide transportation on the lake.
For more information, including how to get involved, contact Hartis at email@example.com or call (919)-515-5648.
