Chamber, Dispatch collaborate again on yearly magazine
The Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce and The Daily Dispatch have completed this year’s edition of the Envision Vance magazine. This full-color, glossy publication highlights through photographs and stories the most positive aspects of Vance County.
This year, featured stories include Nancy Wilson, director of the Vance County Department of Tourism; Ashland Plantatation’s place in the history of this country; Northern Vance High School’s engineering class and its success with the Sirocco project; plus profiles of a farmer from Epsom, the local glass plant and the chamber.
Each year, the magazine includes a detailed directory of the chamber’s current membership. Arranged an easy to follow format and situated in the center portion of the publication, the directory serves to bring the membership together.
Copies were delivered in Wednesday’s edition of the Dispatch. Anyone who does not subscribe to the newspaper can pick up a copy at the chamber office, 414 S. Garnett St. in downtown Henderson or by calling (252) 438-8414.
