College to offer dinner and a play
The drama and culinary arts departments at Vance-Granville Community College are again joining forces to present the college’s second annual Dinner Theater on May 1 and May 2.
The event will include a 6 p.m. dinner and 7:30 p.m. performance of the play “An Inspector Calls” by J.B. Priestley.
Set in English industrial city in 1912, the play is an Agatha Christie style mystery that follows the investigation of a young girl’s death.
Dinner will be prepared by culinary arts students under the direction of Chef Ross Ragonese, recipient of the college’s Faculty Member of the Year Award for the 2013-2014 school year.
Tables of 10 will be available.
The event is open to groups.
