Fire department begins safety campaign
The City of Henderson Fire Department will begin a door-to-door campaign Monday to offer free home safety inspections to city residents.
Department personnel will test smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms, replace batteries and install a working smoke alarm for homes that need one. They will also educate residents on home fire safety.
Those not home at the time of the department’s visit can contact the department to schedule another visit.
