Setting a good example

Children learn from example more than any other way.

If you yell, call him names, or are rude and disrespectful to your child, you’ll often see the same behavior mirrored back to you.

For example, you might say, “What is the matter with you? Why can’t you ever do it right? You’re acting like a wild animal! I’m sick and tired of this.”

Before doing this, remember your child watches, listens to and repeats what you say and do.
