Literary club continues theme on first ladies with Adams

The March meeting of the Sans Souci Literary Club was conducted at Henderson County Club. Mrs. Nelson Falkner served as hostess.

Mrs. Fred Wilson, club president, presided over the business session. Afterward, Mrs. Raymond Stone presented the program. Continuing on the club’s theme for this year, first ladies, Stone spoke about Louisa Catherine Johnson Adams, the wife of John Quincy Adams.

For the April meeting of the club, Mrs. Wallace Cawthorne will serve as hostess.
