Protect your kids from heat exhaustion
Jul. 14, 2014 @ 09:49 AM
When kids get overheated they can get sick and develop heatstroke — a life-threatening condition.
To prevent this from happening, make sure your kids drink lots of water or a sports beverage every 20 minutes during outdoor play.
As much as possible, keep kids in cool environments. Air-conditioning is a great source of protection against heat-related illness.
To treat heat exhaustion symptoms, place your kids into a cool environment immediately and get them to drink cool liquids.
