College offers free seminar for entrepreneurs
The Vance-Granville Community College Small Business Center is holding a free seminar for entrepreneurs on Jan. 29.
The seminar is entitled, “Raising Business Capital: FAQ’s for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesspersons.”
It will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Room F131 on the college’s Franklin County campus.
John Maron of the Securities Division from the secretary of state's will conduct the seminar.
The focus will be on the state and federal laws that regulate business investments.
To offer the seminar, the Small Business Center is partnering with the Securities Division, the Greater Franklin-County Chamber of Commerce, the Franklin County Economic Development and the N.C. Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
