College offers computer repairs course

Vance-Granville Community College is accepting students for a course entitled, “Advanced PC Maintenance & Repair.”

The course will be held on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 9:30 from Jan. 6 through June 30 at the Vance County campus.

Mitch Evans is the scheduled instructor for the course. He is the director of information technology at the college.

The class will include advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, networking techniques, hands-on experience and production techniques for computer repair.

The cost of the course is $187.

The deadline to register is Jan. 2. Students may register at the Vance County campus or online at vgcc.edu/oex.

The campus will be closed from Dec. 20 to Jan. 1.
