College holds computer skills classes
Vance-Granville Community College recently offered computer skills classes meant to aid underemployed and unemployed adults in re-entering the workforce.
The two classes were held at Western Vance High School in Henderson and St. Delight Holy Church in Manson.
The instructor for both classes was Donald Evans, a longtime teacher at Western Vance.
The classes were offered by the college’s Human Resources Development Department.
Fees for all classes offered by the department are waived for qualified participants, including those who are unemployed.
