Tips from the Vance County Parenting Task Force
Handling your angry feelings
Your baby doesn’t wake you up at night, cry a lot, or mess a diaper after you put it on, to make you angry. Babies aren’t able to think this way. Instead of getting angry, focus on calming yourself. Think of things that help you feel better and remind yourself that it will not always be this way. If your anger doesn’t go away, call a friend and ask her to watch your baby while you get some fresh air.
