Warren library to host job skills workshop series
The Warren County Library is hosting a week-long series of workshops next week for job seekers entitled “EMERGE Job Ready.”
The sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and June 13 and from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Topics addressed during the series will include personal and occupational skill development, marketing one’s workplace skills and the global marketplace.
On Thursday, GMSI Inc. will host a professional networking training session from 5 to 7 p.m. The session will help participants develop stronger networking skills.
The series is sponsored by GMSI Inc. and the Kerr-Tar Workforce Development Board.
It will be facilitated by Jane Ball-Groom of Pier View Community Innovations Inc.
Registration will be held at the Warren County Library from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, but space is limited.
