AudioBody to perform at Vance-Granville

Mar. 17, 2014 @ 10:44 AM

The comedy duo AudioBody will take the stage at 8 p.m. Friday at Vance-Granville Community College.

Combining comedy with music and technology, the group uses props such as electronic jumpsuits, LED light tubes, a 16 foot wide electronic drum set and florescent light ropes in performance.

AudioBody currently tours worldwide and has made appearances at the White House and on the shows “CBS Sunday Morning,” “Inside Edition,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Mythbusters” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Presented by the Henderson Community Concert Association, the concert is open only to season ticket holders for the association’s current concert series.

The HCCA will also sponsor two student outreach performances by the duo.

Tickets for the 2014-2014 five-concert series are on early-bird special through March 21 in celebration of the association’s 30th annual season.

The upcoming series will feature Live from Nashville, Fernando Varela from “America’s Got Talent,” The New Shanghai Circus, Canadian fiddler Karrnnel and Simply Sinatra.
